School fundraisers are an important part of our
school year. We need your help with our school
fundraising efforts. The purpose of school
fundraising is to raise funds for
extra-curricular activities, teacher supplies,
playground equipment, field trips, etc..
As parents and educators we need to give our
students the tools and knowledge to succeed and the
same can be said for raising money for school
projects |
|
|
When schools work together with families and the
community to support learning, children will succeed
not just in school but in just about anything they
do in life. Extensive research shows that the most
accurate indicator of a student's academic success
in school isn't tied to family income or social
status, but the extent to which a family:
- Creates a home
environment that encourages learning.
- Sets high but
realistic achievement and career expectations.
- Becomes
involved in child's education and in the
community.

Adopt A Classroom |
|
Adopt a classroom is a nationwide program which
partners donors with needy classrooms. Teachers can
sign up, and donors can find their classrooms to
donate money for use in special partner vendors’
stores for everything from basic supplies to
instructional technology tools. Tools are available
to parents, administrators and volunteers to help
promote the program beyond giving by encouraging
direct contact between the recipients and donors,
and providing accountability by itemizing the
teachers’ use of donated funds and making it
available online. |
